WhatsUser.link ("we", "us") operates whatsusernames.link. This page explains what little data is involved when you use this free tool, and why.
This tool is stateless
WhatsUser.link builds your WhatsApp link and QR code entirely in your browser. The WhatsApp Username, Username Key, phone number, and message you enter are never sent to or stored on our servers. Closing or refreshing the page erases them.
No accounts, no sign-up
There is no registration, login, or user account. We have no database of users or usernames.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard technical logs to serve pages — IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. These are used only for security, abuse prevention, and reliability, and we don't link them to any personal profile.
Cookies and local storage
We don't set tracking cookies ourselves. Your light/dark theme preference is saved only in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Adsterra, a third-party advertising network. Adsterra's ad content may use cookies or similar technologies in your browser to serve and measure ads. We don't control this data. If you prefer not to see ads or be measured by them, review Adsterra's own privacy practices or use an ad blocker / your browser's tracking protection.
Analytics
We don't currently run any first-party analytics or tracking script. If this changes, this policy will be updated first.
Your rights
Because we don't collect or store personal data on our servers, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us using the details below and we'll look into it.
Children's privacy
This tool isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
