Communities
WhatsApp Communities — a grouping of several groups under one shared structure.
A Community bundles several related groups (say, a class plus its project subgroups) under one shared space, with announcements that reach every linked group. Each group inside the community keeps its own conversation; the community itself doesn't replace the username link — it's for organizing groups, not for direct 1:1 contact.
Frequently asked questions
Is a Community the same as one big group?
No — it's a container linking several distinct groups, each with its own member list and conversation.
Can I share a Community link the way I share a username?
They're different links: a community invite link joins a set of groups, while a username link opens a one-to-one conversation with a person.
